Description Ilandaskolan is now seeking a Spanish and English teacher with certification for grades 7-9 who wants to play an important role in students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. Ilandaskolan is a middle school and adapted primary school with approximately 540 students from grades 7 to 9. The school is located by Ilandatjärn with proximity to Stodeneskogen and Hertzöga IP. At our school, students and staff are organized into four teams, one for each grade level and one for the adapted primary school. We dedicate considerable time and effort to making the school a pleasant and stimulating environment for everyone. We focus on preventive and health-promoting student well-being work. Ilandaskolan | Karlstad Municipality Responsibilities As a teacher in grades 7-9, your main task is to develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and circumstances. You plan instruction by setting goals, choosing methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with students, you evaluate the instruction to continuously strive to improve teaching, student learning, and your own professional development. Qualifications We are looking for someone with teacher certification and qualified in Spanish and English for grades 7-9. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and strong didactic and pedagogical skills. You lead and organize your work to create safety, a good study environment, and a supportive learning atmosphere for our students. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work. You naturally maintain a professional approach and work to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have strong teaching abilities in your subject area and excellent leadership skills. You have a strong interest in developing instruction.
