Through successful teaching based on our vision "Learning for Life - Together it's a Given," we work toward student learning and good goal achievement. Student well-being work begins in the classroom. The Pedagogical Development Group, led by principals, directs development work at the school. The focus is on close collaboration with the school's student well-being team, consisting of a special education teacher, specialist teacher, counselor, school nurse, and principals. A school doctor and school psychologist are also part of our team. Our focus over time is on learning environments that promote learning for the individual within the group, study strategies, collaboration with families, positive interactions, and good relationships. Your Role with Us You will teach German and other subjects according to your qualifications. As a teacher with us, you will stimulate students to learn and take personal responsibility. With engagement and enthusiasm, you will create a safe learning environment built on mutual respect and cooperation, through good leadership both inside and outside the classroom. Teaching is designed based on the curriculum's objectives, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations for students and adapt your teaching to meet all students' needs, with a focus on what is best for each student. Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trustful approach. In your role, you stay informed about current events and young people's daily lives. Alternative teaching tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. In a systematic way, you reflect on practical work and, together with colleagues, drive development efforts in your work group/school. You also share responsibility for planning and further development, both for yourself and the group. If you are new to teaching, you will be supported by a mentor for the best guidance in your work. If you are an unqualified teacher, you can conduct teaching but cannot take responsibility for it. A certified teacher holds responsibility for grading. Who We're Looking For We are primarily seeking someone with teacher certification and qualifications to teach grades 6-9 German and another subject in primary school. Secondarily, we seek someone with subject knowledge at the university level in the above subjects. It is an asset if you have pedagogical education at the university level. We want you to have experience working as a teacher or experience conducting teaching in primary school and have worked with young people aged 12-16 years. You have a strong ability to teach children with special needs and the ability to support students in handling conflicts that arise. You have the ability to adapt your teaching based on each student's conditions, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, a working atmosphere, and a desire to learn. You have engagement, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school environment and how it is influenced by the outside world. A success factor is your ability to create trusting relationships both within and outside school. Furthermore, you are a confident pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and your work group's methods for continuous improvement. Of course, you use digital technology in your teaching and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure your work based on stated objectives. As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well-versed, and you uphold the professional ethical principles for teachers and have a talent for analyzing and documenting student abilities and knowledge. To allow us to review your application, you must attach your degree certificate and teacher certification. If no qualified certified teachers are found, you may be hired on a limited-term basis as an unqualified teacher according to school law.
