1 position(s). Väskolan is located just outside central Kristianstad in a residential area. We have approximately 540 students and conduct instruction in grades F-9. In your role, you stay informed about events in the wider world and in young people's daily lives. Alternative teaching tools and documentation are natural parts of your work. You systematically reflect on practical work and together with colleagues drive development work in your work group/school. If you are new as a teacher, you will be supported by a mentor for the best guidance in your work, and if you are an unqualified teacher, you can conduct instruction but not be responsible for it. A qualified teacher has responsibility for grading. Who Are We Looking For? We are primarily looking for you with teacher certification with the authority to conduct instruction in grades 4-9 in Visual Arts and Science in primary school. If you are qualified to teach grades 4-6 in Science, you may also be of interest to us. If you have multiple subject qualifications within your certification, that is a merit. Secondly, we are looking for you who have subject knowledge at university level in the aforementioned subject. It is a merit if you have pedagogical education at university level. You need to have teaching experience and we would like to see that you have previously worked as a teacher in the upper grades of primary school in woodworking and metalworking, or have worked with young people ages 12-16. Good ability to teach children with special educational needs is an advantage, as is the ability to support students in managing conflicts that arise. You have the ability to adapt instruction based on each student's conditions and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, a productive work environment, and a desire to learn. You have dedication, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school world and how it is affected by the wider world. A success factor is that you can create trusting relationships both inside and outside school. Furthermore, you are a confident educational leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and your work group's methods for continuous improvement. You naturally use digital technology in instruction and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure work based on stated goals. As a person, you are communicative, attentive, well-balanced, and live up to the professional ethical principles for teachers, and have an aptitude for analyzing and documenting students' abilities and knowledge. For us to be able to consider your application, you must attach your degree certificate and teacher certification. If there are no qualified certified teachers available, you as an unqualified person can be employed on a fixed-term basis according to the Education Act. When we want to offer you the position, it is required that you provide a record from the police criminal records register so that we can employ you, according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
