Häggenås School is a K-6 school with approximately 100 students and an attached after-school program. We have close access to outdoor activities and nature. At Häggenås School, we work with mixed age groups and, to the extent possible, with a two-teacher system. This means that two classroom teachers share responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction with the goal of providing all students with the guidance and stimulation they need to develop as far as possible in accordance with the objectives of education. As a teacher, you see the student's entire school day as important and therefore collaborate with both guardians and colleagues around the student. As part of this, the school's and after-school program's activities also collaborate to achieve higher goal fulfillment and create the best conditions for each student's pedagogical and social development. There are great opportunities for you to use your knowledge and experience to further develop the activity's working methods together with your colleagues. We need to strengthen the school's team with a teacher for grades 4-6 starting Fall 26, and therefore we are looking for you who want to be part of a small setting where relationships are in focus and where there are short decision-making paths. Your Qualifications You have teacher certification and are qualified to teach grades 4-6. We are looking for someone with clear and strong classroom leadership and the ability to engage and inspire the group you teach based on students' needs. You have a strong interest in developing instruction and supporting students in their learning process. Your view of students aligns with the curriculum's values-based intentions. You are well familiar with the school's governing documents and can implement them in daily work. You have a good ability to build strong relationships and are clear and structured in your work. You have a strong interest in pedagogical challenges and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues to think about development.
