The Learning and Culture Department in Nybro Municipality operates preschools, preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, school childcare, upper secondary schools, and municipal adult education including Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) and special education for adults. Within the department there is education in glasscraft through Riksglasskollan in Pukeberg as well as contract-based education and education within the university college sector. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will teach grades 2-4 in an age-integrated setting. If you have credentials and experience teaching music, physical education, and art, that is a merit. You will be responsible for the duties included for a teaching position as well as the pedagogical development of instruction at the school through active participation in conferences, collaborative learning, and collaboration with our student wellness team. We are looking for someone who is well-versed in the school's curriculum and mission and who works in a goal-oriented manner. At the small school, it is necessary that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changes for the benefit of the operations. You have the ability to create clear structure in your teaching and you have your heart in your interactions with all students. You understand that the learning process benefits from good relationships and high expectations for each student, and you have open communication with guardians. You are humble and unpretentious in facing challenges by attempting to change and develop your teaching to reach all students. You have good collaborative skills with colleagues and management and are driven by collaborative learning. You have excellent digital competence and understand how digital tools can be used to support student learning, as the school also has one-to-one devices from grades 3-6. We welcome your application.
