Specialist Psychiatry in Region Jönköping County is seeking two development leaders who want to contribute to creating equitable, knowledge-based and person-centered care for the region's residents. The role of development leader In this role, you work at a strategic level with development, improvement initiatives and strategic issues affecting specialist psychiatry operations. You become an important link between management, operations and various collaboration partners and have the opportunity to influence the development of psychiatry throughout the county. You work both strategically and operationally, supporting specialist psychiatry's management and operations on matters concerning development, coordination, quality and collaboration. Your responsibilities include: • coordinating county-wide assignments, networks and working groups • driving and supporting development and improvement initiatives • contributing to the development of care processes, knowledge management and common working methods • coordinating activities, projects and collaboration efforts within and outside the region • supporting management and operations with analyses, monitoring and implementation of assignments • representing specialist psychiatry in regional and national contexts. The position's content will develop over time based on operational needs and current priorities, resulting in a varied and dynamic assignment. This is a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed. Your future workplace The Psychiatric Clinic in Jönköping is the largest psychiatric clinic in Region Jönköping County and provides specialized psychiatric care for adults. The operations are complex and knowledge-intensive, with a clear focus on quality, patient safety and efficient resource utilization. Work is conducted in close collaboration between different professions and management functions, with a long-term perspective on developing working methods and supporting operations. Operational support's primary task is to assist managers and employees so that focus can remain on the core assignment – specialized psychiatric care with high quality and good patient safety. About operational support Operational support includes: • Operations developers working with process development, improvement initiatives, patient safety and knowledge management • Research leaders coordinating and supporting the clinic's research and development work • Development leaders with county-wide responsibilities toward all four psychiatric clinics in the region • Safety coordinators with responsibilities toward all psychiatric clinics in the region • Administrative and logistical support, for example regarding permits, IT support, ordering and fault reporting Your profile You have a relevant university degree and experience in development, improvement, coordination or project work, preferably within healthcare. We are seeking someone with experience in psychiatry or work within the field of mental health. You have also worked with process management, operations development or change management and have good knowledge of public sector operations and collaboration between different actors. To succeed in this role, you need to be accustomed to working in complex organizations with many contact points and feel comfortable coordinating, driving and developing work together with various operations and collaboration partners. You have the ability to see the big picture while translating goals and strategies into concrete activities. You work in a structured and independent manner, but also enjoy creating collaboration and engagement among others. You are communicative, flexible and find it easy to build trusting relationships. Since the assignment involves many different contact points, we particularly value good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented work approach. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
