The ski resort Lofsdalen is often called "the small village with big skiing." Lofsdalen is located in Härjedalen, 500 kilometers from Stockholm. The mountain offers fantastic skiing with Sweden's third highest vertical drop (495 m) from the summit at 1125 m above sea level. Lofsdalen has a heart as its logo. A heart that represents authenticity, love, passion, personal and genuine commitment. We are a ski resort that touches people and creates unforgettable memories and experiences. Lofsdalens Fjällanläggningar AB operates the ski facility with the help of 9 lifts (including 2 modern 6-seat chairlifts) and 25 runs. In addition to these, we have a Sports Shop, Ski Rental, Ski School, Activities, Commercial Accommodation, Bike Park, Sky Bar, Paddle Tennis Hall, and more. We have approximately 65 employees in total, of which approximately 15 work year-round and the rest seasonally. Staff housing is available for rent. The season starts in mid-December and runs until mid-April. Are you ready for a fantastic winter season? With skiing passion and enthusiasm, and of course your knowledge and experience, you will instruct and coach our guests toward development and new experiences on snow. NOTE! This position is combined with work in ski rental, lift operation, alpine ski school or children's activities, as cross-country lessons alone do not fill a full-time position. Meritorious qualifications include: Competition background in cross-country skiing or biathlon, attendance at a cross-country skiing or biathlon gymnasium, previous experience as a cross-country ski instructor, ski teacher, leader/coach for children and youth, and good skiing skills.
