About the Company Our client is an established company in Västerås operating in production and warehouse management. Here, a dedicated team works together where order, quality, and collaboration are important parts of the daily work. In this role, you will be employed as a consultant by Effektiv and work on-site at our client's facility. You will receive a thorough introduction and handover to get started with your tasks in a safe and structured way. What Does the Role Offer? As a warehouse associate, you will primarily work with picking and packing. You retrieve materials from pallet racks using a counterbalance forklift, unpack incoming deliveries, and ensure that the right products end up in the right place. The work maintains a steady pace but requires you to be focused and precise throughout the workday. There are some heavy lifting involved, which means you need to be comfortable with physical work where your body gets active from time to time. Your Main Responsibilities: • Pick and pack materials • Operate a forklift and retrieve materials from pallet racks • Unpack and handle incoming deliveries • Check that the correct materials are handled and placed correctly • Maintain order and structure in the warehouse • Assist with other tasks when the operation needs it You will work closely with an experienced colleague and become part of a team where people help each other. Is This Your Perfect Match? To succeed in the role, you need to have a forklift certification and experience operating a forklift, preferably with experience driving a counterbalance forklift. You work carefully and focused and have the physical capacity required for regular lifting. We also see that you are responsible, collaborate well with others, and have a positive attitude toward learning new tasks. Working hours are during daytime, typically 06:00–15:00 or 07:00–16:00.
