Global Timber is now seeking a warehouse associate who wants to become an important part of the operation. This is a new position focused on timber handling, forklift operation, order picking, and quality monitoring of timber. At Global Timber, you will meet colleagues who are passionate about what they do.⭐ About the role: As a warehouse associate, you will have a varied role where you work both operatively in the business and administratively with planning and follow-up. We are looking for someone who is fluent in Swedish both verbally and in writing, collaborates easily with others, and enjoys taking responsibility. Typical tasks include: Warehouse management, inventory, and picking of materials Forklift operation (primarily counterbalance forklifts) Loading and unloading of goods Assisting in the timber drying process Handling and monitoring measurements related to timber Ensuring order and structure in the warehouse Supporting the business in improvement and development initiatives You will also get to learn more about timber properties and how the drying process works. Who will thrive in this role? We are looking for someone with experience from warehouse, logistics, or industrial operations who enjoys combining practical work with responsibility. You have good numerical understanding, basic computer skills, and an interest in understanding how processes work. As a person, you are driven, curious, and take your own initiative. Experience from the timber industry, timber handling, or knowledge of cubic calculations and drying processes is a merit, but the most important thing is your engagement and willingness to learn. You are fluent in Swedish both verbally and in writing, have good collaboration skills, and are seeking a long-term position where you get the opportunity to take responsibility, develop, and grow with the business.
