At Karossan, you'll play a central role in daily warehouse activities, while also having the opportunity to contribute to developing and improving work methods and procedures. About the Position This is a 6-month consulting assignment with strong opportunities for permanent placement. Initially, you'll be employed by Bravura, and Karossan has stated its intention to offer you employment with them in the future. This gives both you and Karossan a good opportunity to get to know each other and evaluate how you work together. About the Company AB Karossan Invest is one of Sweden's leading specialists in vehicle interiors and custom bodywork. The company performs assembly, welding, metalworking, plastic work, painting, and electrical installations. Karossan was founded in 1944 as a carpentry workshop with Scania as its largest customer – they built truck cabs in wood. As the vehicle industry evolved, so did Karossan, with more customers and increasingly advanced projects. Today, approximately 40 people work in the company, with production located in Södertälje. Customers include Mercedes, the Swedish Armed Forces, Police, Rescue Services, Relacom, SVT, Telia, and Volkswagen. Karossan stands for quality, craftsmanship, and innovative solutions – from concept to finished vehicle conversion. Responsibilities As warehouse manager at Karossan, you play a central role in warehouse operations and work closely with both production and purchasing. Together with a colleague, you're responsible for daily warehouse work and for creating an efficient flow from goods receipt to material availability where needed in the operation. The role is operational and involves hands-on practical warehouse work, while you take significant responsibility for organization, structure, and ensuring procedures are followed. You also actively contribute to developing and improving warehouse functions by identifying improvement opportunities and establishing effective work methods. Your responsibilities include: Receiving, registering, quality checking, and placing incoming goods Picking, packing, and preparing materials and spare parts for production and delivery Organizing materials and ongoing inventory management and counting Booking and handling incoming and outgoing deliveries Forklift operation and practical material handling Purchasing selected items and supplies Ensuring order, safety, and structure in warehouse and workshop Contributing to developing procedures, processes, and efficient work methods in warehouse operations Qualifications, Experience, and Personal Qualities Several years of warehouse experience Strong experience working systematically with warehouse flows, material handling, and inventory management Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems Valid forklift certification with B1 and B2 authorizations Class B driver's license Excellent Swedish, both written and spoken To thrive in this role, you're a responsible and thorough person who appreciates order and structure. You work methodically, take ownership of your tasks, and see what needs to be done for smooth operations. You're self-directed and take initiative, while also being able to prioritize when multiple tasks need handling in parallel. Since the warehouse has many contact points, you're also communicative, service-oriented, and collaborative. You enjoy working closely with other departments and are happy to contribute ideas on how procedures and work methods can be improved. You're unpretentious in your approach and enjoy combining practical warehouse work with greater responsibility for creating structure and efficient operations.
