Your Responsibilities
As a painter, you will work with coating and surface treatment of components and parts for custom-built vehicles and machinery. You will work with parts in varying sizes and shapes, where you are responsible for the entire process from preparation to the finished painted component.
Your tasks include blasting, sanding, washing, and masking in preparation for coating. You will primarily work with wet coating and spray painting, where precision and an eye for finish are important to ensure high-quality results. Your work also includes inspecting the finished product and performing any necessary finishing work.
A forklift license and overhead crane license are required for this position, as the work involves handling and moving components of varying sizes. You will be part of a small production team where collaboration with other functions is an important part of the work. The position is based on daytime hours.
Your Background/Your Qualities
To thrive in this role, we see that you are thorough, quality-conscious, and have an eye for detail. You are responsible, engaged, and used to working independently while also enjoying being part of a small team.
You have previous experience with painting, preferably in industrial, workshop, or manufacturing environments. Experience with wet coating, spray painting, and blasting is a plus. It is also an advantage if you have experience with preparation work such as sanding, washing, and masking, as well as knowledge of various coating systems and paint types.
As a person, you are practically minded and have a technical interest. You are thorough in your work and understand the importance of following instructions and maintaining consistent high quality throughout the process. Experience working with components of varying sizes is a plus.
