About the Position As a painter, you will work through all stages of the painting process, such as sanding, priming, masking, painting, and polishing of collision and paint-damaged vehicles in high volumes. You will work alongside seven other team members in the paint shop, but be part of a larger damage repair department with approximately 25 employees who have different roles and work together to ensure our customers are extremely satisfied. The damage repair shop is authorized within the Volkswagen Group's quality system Damage Specialist for safe and professional vehicle damage repairs. When a customer brings their car to us, the vehicle is restored to its original condition. You perform your tasks independently, but as part of the damage repair shop's shared workflows, and we believe you thrive with high expectations for quality and efficiency. Your Qualifications Experience working as a painter Driver's license category B Secondary education with a focus on bodywork and painting, or other experience the employer deems equivalent Good computer and system skills are required as you work daily in various systems and use a computer as a work tool We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service and a positive attitude. You are used to collaborating with others and are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction or to help a colleague when needed. You are organized and see the benefits of working meticulously, and you take responsibility for completing your tasks according to plan and with high quality.
