Would you like to work in an important role where precision, analysis, and quality are at the center? We are now seeking a laboratory technician for our testing laboratory who wants to help ensure the quality of our technically advanced rubber compounds. About Us At Trelleborg Mixing Forsheda, we develop, produce, market, and sell technically advanced rubber compounds. Our testing laboratory plays a central role in controlling and ensuring the quality of materials before they move forward in the process or are delivered to customers. About the Role As a laboratory technician in the operations lab, you have an important role in ensuring the quality of our produced rubber compounds. The work is independent and requires precision, while you also collaborate closely with storage, production, and the development lab, among others. You work in a practical and varied lab flow where testing, documentation, and follow-up are central parts of the role. Working hours are arranged in a 2-shift schedule. Key Responsibilities Conduct testing procedures such as hardness, density, vulcanization properties, viscosity, electrical properties, and tape testing. Test produced compounds according to established test plans for each material. Prepare samples and manufacture test specimens for tests where this is required. Record test results correctly in the database. Approve compounds that fall within established limit values. Report compounds that do not meet requirements or clearly deviate from specification. Administer testing performed by other functions or external laboratories. Ensure that equipment in the operations lab functions properly and is in good condition. Report errors, deviations, or needs for corrective actions according to applicable procedures. Work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and environmental and quality systems. Your Profile We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and takes responsibility for driving your work forward. You are precise, analytical, and have a desire to improve working methods and processes. You have a natural ability to build relationships and collaborate well with different parts of the organization.
