Laboratory Operator for Global Packaging Company

About the Position As a Laboratory Operator, you will work in our client's packaging lab. Our client is a global, innovative packaging company based in Lund. In your role as Laboratory Operator, your main responsibilities will include: - Perform packaging tests - Forklift operation (Class A may be required) - Communicate with/plan/respond to inquiries from test requesters - Enter your own orders in the client's ordering system - Participate in and possibly lead improvement initiatives in the lab Working hours are Monday through Friday, 08:00-17:00. The Laboratory Operator position is a 6-month contract assignment with the possibility of extension, starting immediately. About You We are looking for someone who wants to develop in a role where you take responsibility and have influence. We prefer that you have at least upper secondary education, and it's a plus if you have post-secondary education in packaging technology. It is required that you are fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written. We also see that you are thorough, responsible, helpful, and comfortable working in a laboratory environment. You enjoy learning new things and thrive working independently as well as building good relationships. You are able to work in a team and are a team player. You are comfortable in a physically active role and work carefully and conscientiously even with tasks that are periodically repetitive. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
