No. 40003457128) We are inviting a Biomedical Laboratory Technician (profession code: 754308) to join our team for work in the field of clinical testing We expect you to have: First-level professional higher education, secondary specialized medical education - biomedical laboratory technician or final-year biomedical laboratory technician student A certification in the specialty is desirable and will be considered an advantage Desirable professional work experience of 1 (one) year, and/or work experience in an equivalent position High sense of responsibility, good analytical skills, precision, and a positive attitude toward work Initiative and the ability to efficiently organize your work Excellent knowledge of Latvian language, desirable knowledge of English language (for work duties using manufacturer-developed original methods) Compliance with the requirements of Section 72 of the Child Protection Law and the National Security Law. Main job responsibilities: Prepare, analyze test samples and ensure result reliability Conduct reagent inventory and ensure traceability Participate in internal and external quality control programs Monitor room microclimate (temperature/humidity) in work areas and refrigerators, document it and ensure corrective actions in accordance with instructions Complete medical documentation/records Consult clients within your competence on testing procedures and recommend the most optimal testing procedures We offer: Salary without certification 1220 EUR and with certification 1360 EUR before taxes.
