Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (Reg. No. 90000041898) offers a full-time position for a senior laboratory assistant at the Institute of Food and Environmental Hygiene, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, for an indefinite period.
Duties:
Ensuring document circulation for the institute's administrative operations; case file creation in accordance with LBTU case nomenclature; document preparation and formatting for archival storage.
Preparation and formatting of documents related to the study process: drafting internship orders and concluding internship agreements for Latvian and foreign students; recording employee working hours in the LBTU IS system; formatting and submitting institute study course programs/applications to the LBTU IS study course register. Fixed asset machine-hours accounting – MicroStrategy; Institute Council meeting minutes – DVS Namejs.
Procurement and supervision of inventory and materials necessary for lectures and laboratory work at the institute, participation in the institute's annual inventory and appropriate documentation formatting.
Requirements:
· Preferred experience in administrative work;
· good computer skills;
· good interpersonal communication skills;
· high sense of responsibility and accuracy;
· friendly and responsive attitude;
· mandatory state language knowledge;
· preferred English language knowledge.
