We are seeking a church sexton for Karlsborg Pastorate, currently positioned at Karlsborg Parish.
Your responsibilities will include exterior and interior services, i.e., sexton duties at services (weekends) and church ceremonies such as funerals, as well as all types of churchyard maintenance, minor facility maintenance, and snow clearance.
We are looking for an outgoing and attentive person with experience in park or churchyard work. We place great importance on service mindedness toward parishioners. You should also have a commitment to further developing churchyard work and church services. The position requires good physical fitness. We work in small teams, so we value good chemistry among team members. The guiding principles for churchyard maintenance are dignity and respect.
Desirable qualifications: Machine experience in both operating and servicing, experience working in a church environment, excavator certification or foreman's certificate, knowledge of irrigation systems and water pumps.
Required for the position: Driver's license and access to your own car that can be used for work.
