We place great emphasis on quality assurance, as we believe that good and efficient processes are essential for a well-functioning school. As a special education teacher at Kymlingeskolan, you will primarily work with students who need specialized support in the learning environment. You work directly with students, individually or in groups, and also collaborate with other teachers and resource educators to create the best conditions for our students' learning and development. The role also includes close collaboration with students' guardians. You guide staff on various forms of adaptations, and are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating instruction and interventions together with your colleagues. You contribute your expertise in developing pedagogical assessments, action plans, and intervention programs. As a special education teacher, you are also an important part of the school's student health team and regularly meet with other special education teachers and specialists from the city at network meetings. You must be a qualified special education teacher specializing in mathematics. You have the formal qualifications and an intuitive sense of what our students need to progress as far as possible within their abilities and the educational objectives. You are confident in your role and have the courage to make independent decisions while valuing collaboration. As a person, you are attentive, results-oriented, and work methodically to meet deadlines and complete projects. You build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and communicate with clarity and warmth. You are unpretentious, solution-focused, and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves or think creatively when finding the right learning environment for our students. We place great importance on your personal qualities. This position is a fixed-term assignment for one academic year with the possibility of a permanent position. The position is full-time (100%).
