Refrigeration Technician for Trucks and Trailers
About the Position
Are you an experienced refrigeration technician with a background in transport refrigeration? Do you want to work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of cooling units on trucks and trailers? Then this position might be for you.
We are seeking a self-motivated refrigeration technician with experience in cooling systems for heavy vehicles who enjoys varied work where problem-solving and customer contact are in focus.
Responsibilities
As a refrigeration technician, you will work with:
- Service and preventive maintenance of cooling units on trucks and trailers.
- Troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration technical faults.
- Repair and replacement of components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, fan motors, and control systems.
- Leak detection, vacuum evacuation, and refrigerant charging.
- Computer diagnostics and manufacturer troubleshooting software.
- Functionality checks and calibration of temperature control.
- Documentation of work performed and reporting according to applicable procedures.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Experience as a refrigeration technician in trucks, trailers, or transport refrigeration.
- Good knowledge of refrigeration technology, electrical systems, and mechanics.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of cooling units.
- Class B driver's license.
- Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
Merits
- Refrigeration certificate (Category I).
- Experience with Thermo King, Carrier Transicold, Mitsubishi, or Zanotti.
- Class C driver's license.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and control systems for transport refrigeration.
