WORK TASKS
The work involves providing support, service, and care to the user based on an individually tailored implementation plan. We work according to the Act on Support and Service (LSS).
You meet a person who needs your commitment, flexibility, and resourcefulness to feel good in the company of others. You get to be part of other people's lives, while also being able to influence your own work to some extent. You provide others with quality of life, good and close care, and security, and you yourself get the opportunity to develop as a person through humble encounters with others.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you to work as a personal assistant to a young girl in central Oskarshamn. During weekdays, the girl attends school during the day, where you as an assistant accompany her. The remaining time is at home, and she needs help with everything in daily life such as mobility, personal care, and communication, etc.
We believe that you are a person who loves children and is comfortable working with children with advanced medical needs. The work demands high levels of responsibility, flexibility, and attentiveness. You have a good ability to see the bigger picture and the individual needs and circumstances of each person. You are kind-hearted, calm, structured, and have good teamwork skills. Personal chemistry is essential. The girl lives with her parents and family in a shared custody arrangement, and you need to have close cooperation with them and follow routines in the different homes.
We would like to see that you have previous experience working with children or in personal assistance. Experience with epilepsy is a merit. It is a requirement to be a non-smoker and have good Swedish language skills. The girl requests only female applicants.

In the assistance services of Oskarshamn Municipality, there is cooperation with other assistance cases, where there are 13 assistance assignments. The position with the girl is at 65%, and the remaining time up to 100% is combined with 12 other assistance assignments. Working hours are daytime and evening. On-call time and weekend work are included in the position.
