We are part of the social administration that is now preparing to create the social services of the future. Since January 1, 2024, we have a target group-adapted organization that supports a process-based working method. The administration's core operations are divided into two areas: individual and family care, and services for people with disabilities. The services for people with disabilities area is divided into three sections: disability support prevention and authority, housing and healthcare, and employment, home support and support for children. The services for people with disabilities' overall responsibility for both authority functions and provision creates good collaboration benefits, shorter and simpler decision-making processes, and an opportunity to easily "adjust" based on the needs of the target group.
Your Assignment
We are now seeking, based on the user's wishes, an experienced female personal assistant. The user is looking for someone with life experience, personal maturity, and an interest in an active lifestyle and exercise. You will be an important part of the user's daily life and help create conditions for an independent, secure, and active life.
This position is a PAN employment. Since personal assistance is based on close collaboration, the user will participate in the recruitment process and be involved in selecting the assistant who best meets the user's needs, wishes, and circumstances.
As a personal assistant, you work in close collaboration with the user and your colleagues in the user's home environment. You serve as the user's extended arms and legs and provide support in all aspects of daily life, such as cleaning, cooking, exercise, activities, and personal care. An important part of the assignment is to create a safe and supportive environment and to motivate and support the user in daily exercise to maintain physical abilities and promote well-being. Through your work, you contribute to the user being able to live as independent and meaningful a life as possible based on their own circumstances.
In your assignment, you will:
Provide the support needed based on the user's individual needs.
Support and assist in all aspects of daily life, such as cooking, cleaning, household tasks, exercise including physical assistance with personal care and dressing.
Work closely with the user to create a safe and respectful environment.
Actively help create conditions for an independent and meaningful life, in accordance with the user's wishes and needs.
Provide support with activities, exercise, and social contexts to promote quality of life and independence and to help the user maintain their physical abilities.
Here's what we're looking for in you:
We're looking for someone who always puts the user in focus and who is stable, resilient, and secure even in challenging situations. You have high integrity, good personal maturity, and an understanding of the importance of acting respectfully and professionally in close relationships. As a person, you are flexible, responsive, and have the ability to adapt your working methods based on the user's needs and wishes regarding how support should be provided. You also have great respect for the fact that the work is carried out in the user's and family's home, where you are part of their daily life.
Formal Requirements
Adequate education, such as through a healthcare and care program or other education that we assess as equivalent.
At least 4 years of experience in healthcare and care professions.
Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing and computer skills as we have documentation responsibilities.
Smoke-free workplace and no use of perfume during working hours as the user is sensitive to scents. Based on the user's wishes, we are only recruiting women in this recruitment.
