We are now seeking personal assistants who want to work for our client in Roma on Gotland. The assignment involves a woman in her 70s who lives with her husband. The woman has Parkinson's disease, uses a wheelchair, and has communication difficulties. Assistive devices are available on site. As a personal assistant, you help contribute to a safe, meaningful, and functioning everyday life. The work involves being a support in both daily routines and in the things that make life more enjoyable. Work Responsibilities As a personal assistant, you provide support based on the individual's needs and wishes. Work responsibilities may include: Assistance with personal care Support with household chores Accompanying on activities, errands, or leisure interests Being social and trusted company in everyday life The work takes place where the client is located – at home or during activities outside the home. Work hours are 9 am–5 pm and 5 pm–10 pm, both weekdays and weekends. We therefore appreciate if you are flexible and available for these work hours. There is also the possibility of working shifts with double assistance during daytime. You should be able to start immediately. Who Are We Looking For? We believe you are: Responsible, attentive, and confident in yourself Respectful of the individual's integrity and autonomy A person who can work independently but also follow established routines Adaptable and proactive Physically strong with good basic fitness Requirements for the Position: You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written You have a driver's license and access to a car, or you live nearby and can take the bus Ability to work flexible hours Previous experience in personal assistance or healthcare is a merit, but personal suitability and attitude are most important. Introduction and training are provided together with experienced staff. You will begin your employment with an hourly contract to get to know the client and work tasks better. If the personal chemistry between you and the client works, there are opportunities to get a permanent schedule. We are looking for you who want to work full-time or part-time.
