About the Job Health care temporary position at 65% with possibility of permanent employment. Hourly substitute work (when regular assistants cannot work). Schedule: The schedule offers long shifts 08.00 - 23.30 (Fri, Sat 08.00-24.00). Before your first shift, you will shadow one of my regular assistants approximately 4-5 times to get up to speed with the job. About Me I am a woman aged 55+ living with my partner in a small village called Norra Unnaryd. It is located about 40 km outside Jönköping. My disability means I need your arms and legs in various situations, but I manage my own assistance. I use a wheelchair due to a muscle disease and need help with, among other things, personal care, cooking, and household chores. A day with me can range from a quiet day at home doing various tasks, both indoors and outdoors, to an active outing – perhaps shopping at Gekås in Ullared. I enjoy baking, cooking, dining out, ice hockey, and spending time with family and friends. For us to get along well, I believe you are: A woman with personal maturity. Reliable, thorough, and attentive. Someone who enjoys working with people and can read and adapt to my needs. Important to Know: You must be a non-smoker and tolerate pets. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. You need a driver's license and access to your own car to get to and from work (during work, you will drive my wheelchair-adapted car). Assistive equipment is available in the home. Good physical fitness is needed as we often take long walks. Due to the nature of the work, I am seeking only female assistants.
