As a Quality Developer/SAS, you will become an important part of the department's management team working with development, quality, and long-term operational development. The team is led by the Development Manager and works in close collaboration with the department's management groups, managers, and operations.
The team includes several specialist functions that together support the department's development and governance. This includes, among other things, Development Manager, Quality Developer/SAS, Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS), Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR), Digitalization Strategist, Systems Developer, and Board Secretary. Together, we contribute expertise in quality, patient safety, digitalization, operational development, and board administration to create the best possible conditions for operations.
About the position
As a Quality Developer/SAS, you have a central role in ensuring good quality, legal certainty, and continuous improvements within the department's care and health services operations.
You work both strategically and operatively to develop, follow up on, and quality assure operations based on legislation, national guidelines, and local goals.
The assignment includes, among other things:
leading and coordinating quality and development work within care and health services
responsibility for monitoring, analyzing, and improving processes and working methods
monitoring legislation, guidelines, and governing documents within care and health services operations
serving as an expert within the relevant legislative area and supporting managers and operations
conducting investigations according to Lex Sarah and responsibility for reports to the Inspectorate for Care and Health Services (IVO) regarding serious misconduct
analyzing deviations, comments, complaints, and documentation to identify areas for improvement
preparing documents, reports, and analyses for department management and the board
planning and conducting training and development initiatives within the quality area
conducting active environmental monitoring within care, health services, and social services
being a strategic support to managers and leadership on issues concerning quality, operational development, and improvement work.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is trained as a social worker and has experience with quality and development work within care and health services or social services.
To succeed in the role, you need to be well-versed in the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS), and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL). You have a good understanding of how legislation, quality, and operational development interact and can translate analyses, follow-ups, and improvement proposals into concrete operational development.
It is a merit if you have experience with:
work as a quality developer, operational developer, or similar development function
work in a politically governed organization
investigation work and exercise of authority
work with Lex Sarah and systematic quality work
change and improvement work in complex organizations
work with monitoring, analysis, and operational development within care and health services.
As a person, you are analytical, structured, and independent. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and translate analyses into concrete improvement measures. At the same time, you are responsive and relationship-building and enjoy collaborating with managers, employees, and other professionals.
You express yourself very well in speech and writing and feel confident presenting documents to both management groups and political decision-makers.
