About the workplace
Ersta Diakoni is Sweden's largest mission-driven actor in healthcare and care services. We provide healthcare, social work, research and education, professionally and on a non-profit basis.
Our social activities include elderly care facilities, home care services, LSS activities and social support. Every day we meet elderly people, people with disabilities and people in vulnerable life situations with the goal of creating security, independence and quality of life.
As a quality developer and socially responsible coordinator (SAS), you will have the opportunity to contribute to the quality of activities that make a real difference for many people. Here, care combined with expertise is paired with systematic quality work where the individual's needs are always at the center. You will become part of a mission-driven organization where development, quality and human solidarity go hand in hand.
We offer you:
meaningful work in a values-driven organization
the opportunity to influence and develop the future of care
engaged and competent colleagues
large contact surfaces and close collaboration with the operations
a workplace where we see the whole person – both those we are here for and our employees
a range of benefits that we hope will give you the conditions to thrive at work and have a rewarding leisure time.
About the role
This is a key role in our initiative to strengthen and further develop quality work within the social field. You will become part of our quality organization for Ersta Diakoni's social activities and report to the quality manager. At the same time, you work closely with the operations and help ensure that quality and development become a natural part of everyday life.
The role combines the SAS assignment with broad quality development responsibilities. Approximately half of the work involves SAS-related matters such as Lex Sarah, regulatory monitoring and compliance. The other half involves developing methods, monitoring results and driving improvement work together with the operations.
In the role you will, among other things:
support and guide managers in quality and improvement work
monitor legislation and ensure that operations work in accordance with applicable regulations
support operations in Lex Sarah investigations and reports to IVO
develop and maintain procedures, guidelines and methods
plan and conduct training and competence-raising initiatives
support operations in risk analyses, deviation management and internal controls
monitor, analyze and develop quality results
contribute to internal audits, quality reports and cross-operational development work
environmental monitoring and translating new knowledge into practical operational development.
Who are you?
For you to thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you are a person who combines structure and analysis with genuine commitment to quality and development. You have an easy way of creating trusting relationships and collaborate well with people in different roles and operations. You are pedagogical and confident in supporting, guiding and challenging managers and operations in their development work.
We also believe that you:
work in a structured manner and have the ability to drive matters forward
are responsive and have good collaboration skills
are unpretentious and contribute to a good collaborative climate
thrive in a role with many contact surfaces
have the ability to translate requirements and regulations into practical and operations-related methods.
You share Ersta's values of seeing the whole person and our value words; professionalism, trust and hope.
Your experience
We are looking for you who have:
relevant higher education in social work or healthcare
experience as a manager, coordinator, operations developer or other leading role within social work
good understanding of how quality work, legislation and operational development interact
experience interpreting and applying laws, regulations and guidelines
very good ability to express yourself in Swedish orally and in writing
good IT skills and experience working in digital systems.
It is meritorious if you have experience in:
