We are specialists in customized solutions and serve customers in the recycling and forestry industries, transport, material handling, and construction. Melin & Carlsson has been part of the ELMAB Group since December 2025, which together generates approximately 500 MSEK in revenue and has approximately 200 employees with operations in Tranås and Dala-Järna. Your Responsibilities As a Quality Technician at Melin & Carlsson, you'll have a central role in developing and ensuring quality in our operations. You work closely with production, customers, and suppliers, driving both daily quality work and long-term improvement initiatives – in short: you make a real difference! Your responsibilities include: Quality and Improvement Work – Lead efforts to reduce quality failure costs and register, follow up, and address customer and supplier deviations, as well as manage complaint cases Root Cause Analysis and Improvement Work – Conduct analyses using methods such as 8D, identify improvement areas, and develop processes and procedures Measurement Techniques and Quality Controls – Verify sample results and conduct quality follow-ups, as well as participate in incoming inspections and quality audits Training and Communication – Ensure that changes in working methods are communicated and implemented, and contribute to competence development in quality Your Profile This is an exciting opportunity for you if you have experience from the manufacturing industry and enjoy a role where you can combine technology, analysis, and problem-solving. You are confident in reading drawings and have an understanding of technical specifications and processes. You have good computer skills and the ability to work systematically with documentation. To be successful in this role, basic knowledge of or interest in quality tools and root cause analysis is required. We would like to see that you have experience with or interest in measurement techniques. Strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required.
