The role of Quality Coordinator is new within SiS and its purpose is to strengthen the institution's ability to conduct a proactive, legally secure, and systematic quality improvement process. Your assignment will be to contribute to the long-term development of the quality of operations. We are now seeking a full-time Quality Coordinator for a permanent position. Join us on our journey to implement this important role in the agency! The Quality Coordinator supports the local management group at Tysslinge, which consists of 12 managers, and assists the Quality Manager by strengthening the institution's ability to conduct a legally secure and systematic quality improvement process. You contribute to a safer and more legally secure care environment for children and young people by helping develop the quality of operations in a long-term and proactive manner. Concretely, this means: Keeping together and coordinating the institution's systematic quality work so that early signals of deficiencies are identified and converted into improvement efforts. Supporting the institution's managers in handling deviations such as Lex Sarah, IVO (Inspectorate for Care) and JO (Parliamentary Ombudsman) cases, and contributing to the application of legally secure processes in investigative work. Supporting managers in the institution's work with implementing new governance documents, methods, and procedures. Participating in, and in some cases leading, youth councils and other forums where quality issues are the focus. Contributing to dialogue and experience exchange between the local and national level, including participation in networks for quality coordinators. Other work tasks related to the role that are needed to achieve good results. The role involves working independently but in close collaboration with the institution's management group. You will also be part of a network of quality coordinators at all the agency's institutions. About the Workplace SiS Youth Institution Tysslinge is an institution in the highest security classification that receives young people at high risk of threats, violence, and escape. The institution has a total of seven units that receive young people placed under the Act Concerning Care of Young People (LVU) and young people sentenced under the Closed Youth Care Act (LSU). One of the units consists of places for young people who are cared for in isolation (VIE) during a period. You will be located in our newly renovated premises in an open office landscape. Since SiS Youth Institution Tysslinge has the highest security classification within SiS, it means you need to work with high risk awareness. You are analytical, structured, and meticulous with a strong ability to drive and maintain processes. You have integrity with a good ability to balance between a supporting and monitoring role. Furthermore, you have a strong ability to work independently while also being communicative and pedagogical, in order to support managers and staff in developing the institution's quality improvement work. You must also have: An academic degree in social work, behavioral science, or equivalent academic education combined with work experience that we consider equivalent Experience working with systematic quality improvement in operations governed by SOSFS 2011:9 Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish It is meriting if you also have: Knowledge of administrative law, Lex Sarah, and regulations related to supervision Good knowledge of and experience with investigation, data collection, documentation, and analysis.
