Do you have experience in quality work and thrive in a role where technical problem-solving is combined with close customer contact? LK Armatur in Helsingborg is seeking a quality engineer who wants to take overall responsibility for customer complaints – from initial contact and investigation to corrective action and feedback. Your Role As a quality engineer, you are responsible for receiving, investigating, and managing customer complaints and other quality issues. You perform root cause analyses, coordinate involved functions, and ensure clear feedback to the customer. You will have many contact points and work closely with both customers' quality and procurement functions as well as production, product managers, and the development department. You will become part of the Quality and Sustainability department and report to the Quality and Sustainability Manager. Over time, you may also represent the quality department in development projects. Your Main Responsibilities? Handle and investigate customer complaints and quality issues. Perform root cause analyses and drive corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate involved functions and follow up on decided measures. Communicate with customers and provide clear feedback throughout the process. Document and follow up on cases in relevant systems. Conduct simple measurements and product inspections. Contribute to continuous improvement and, over time, participate in product development projects. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with previous experience in quality matters who can independently conduct investigations and assess what actions a case requires. You have good technical understanding and a genuine interest in understanding products, functions, and failure patterns. An engineering degree is valuable, but relevant experience and practically acquired competence can be equally important. To succeed in this role, you need to be confident in dialogue with customers – even when the situation is pressured or the customer is dissatisfied. You are attentive and diplomatic, can explain technical questions in an understandable way, and can say no professionally when needed. At the same time, you have integrity, stand firm in your assessments, and drive issues forward internally without losing either the relationship or the goal out of sight. We would like to see that you have: Several years of experience in quality work and complaints or deviation management, preferably within manufacturing or technical operations. Good technical understanding and experience with root cause analyses and relevant quality tools. Experience with customer contact and the ability to drive cases together with different parts of the organization. Technical education or equivalent competence acquired through work experience. Good system knowledge and very good Swedish and good English in speech and writing. Experience with 8D reports, electronics, electronic products, or HVAC is advantageous, as are German language skills.
