State Police Criminal Police Headquarters Criminology Department Quality Management, Development and Planning Division Senior Specialist Occupation Code – 242313 General Job Responsibilities: Maintain the quality management system in the Department in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 standards, as well as implement and develop action plans for quality management system improvement; Develop and participate in the development of external and internal regulations and procedural instructions; Administer the internal quality management documentation system; Organize and conduct designated audits, compile and analyze audit results; Maintain the personnel management process and ensure documentation traceability; Organize, register and manage competency maintenance tests and professional development training for Department personnel; Search for, compile and develop project-related information and applications; Compile and analyze statistical data. Education and Professional Experience Required for the Position: Academic higher education or second-level professional higher education; Desirable knowledge and experience in quality system process management; Precision and high sense of responsibility, ability to organize work independently and meet deadlines; Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; Advanced Latvian language proficiency; Good English language proficiency (for certain job duties); Good computer skills, ability to work with Microsoft Office; Ability to work in a team; Experience in international projects will be considered an advantage.
