Company Description We are 10 employees with offices in Täby and Stenungssund. Several of our employees are specialists in various NDT methods. SQC Swedish Qualification Centre AB provides quality assurance and qualification of systems for non-destructive testing of reactor vessels with internal components, other primary systems, and associated piping systems at nuclear power plants. The testing methods we qualify are ultrasonic, eddy current, visual techniques, penetrant, and magnetic particle testing. We also have expertise in radiography. We are considered one of the world-leading companies in qualifications according to ENIQ methodology. Our customers are primarily Ringhals AB, OKG Aktiebolag, and Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB, but we also perform assignments for other stakeholders, such as the Radiation Safety Authority, SKB, and others. About the Position You will perform qualification assignments and progressively manage projects for our customers within and outside Sweden. Our foundation is qualifying non-destructive testing (NDT) systems for Swedish nuclear power. In addition, you will drive development and advisory projects for other stakeholders and participate in various forums and projects to ensure SQC remains at the forefront of NDT knowledge. As a Qualification Engineer / NDT Engineer, you will quality assure advanced testing systems where work tasks include reviewing technical documentation and conducting/assessing practical demonstrations of testing procedures, personnel, and equipment. The NDT techniques being qualified are often applications at the forefront of development, and the equipment used ranges from simple semi-automatic manipulators for pipe testing to advanced remotely controlled robots for testing primary components such as reactor vessels or internal parts. You will conduct qualification assignments independently or together with other qualification engineers. We have our own laboratory with advanced NDT equipment and manipulators where we conduct our own investigations for training, development assignments, and so-called "fingerprinting" of test blocks used in qualification. Qualification Requirements We are looking for you who: Are certified at least level 2 in two or more NDT methods, where UT is one of the methods. It is meritorious if you have experience working with mechanized testing systems, preferably at nuclear power plants. It is also meritorious if you have a higher engineering degree or higher education. Furthermore, we are looking for you who have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You as a Person: The work requires great responsibility and initiative as well as high integrity and a sense of quality. You should be well-organized and have a sense of service.
