SQC Swedish Qualification Centre AB offers quality assurance and qualification of systems for non-destructive testing of reactor tanks with internal components, other primary systems, and associated piping systems at nuclear power plants. The testing methods we qualify are ultrasound, eddy current, visual technique, penetrant, and magnetic particle. We also have expertise in radiography. We are considered one of the world-leading companies in qualifications according to ENIQ methodology. Our customers are primarily Ringhals AB, OKG Aktiebolag, and Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB, but we also perform assignments for other stakeholders such as the Radiation Safety Authority, SKB, and others. About the Position You will carry out qualification assignments and gradually manage projects for our customers in Sweden and abroad. Our foundation is to qualify non-destructive testing (NDT) systems for Swedish nuclear power. In addition, you will drive development and advisory projects for other stakeholders and participate in various forums and projects to ensure that SQC is always at the forefront of NDT knowledge. As a Qualification Handler/NDT Engineer, you quality assure advanced testing systems where work tasks include review of technical documentation and execution/assessment of practical demonstrations of testing procedures, personnel, and equipment. The NDT techniques being qualified are often cutting-edge applications, and the equipment used ranges from simple semi-automated manipulators for pipe testing to advanced remotely-controlled robots for testing primary components such as reactor tanks or internal components. You will carry out qualification assignments either independently or together with other qualification handlers. We have our own laboratory with advanced NDT equipment and manipulators where we conduct our own investigations for training, development assignments, and so-called "fingerprinting" of test blocks used in qualifications. Requirements Specification We are looking for you who are: Certified, at least level 2, in two or more NDT methods, where UT is one of the methods. It is a merit if you have experience working with mechanized testing systems, preferably at nuclear power plants. It is also a merit if you have a higher technical degree or equivalent. Furthermore, we are looking for you who have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You as a person: The work requires great responsibility and initiative as well as high integrity and a sense of quality. You should be organized and have a sense of service.
