Medborgarskolan in Gothenburg is seeking engaged and inspiring course instructors. Medborgarskolan operates throughout Sweden, and our courses and cultural activities engage nearly one million participants each year. We welcome everyone, and our ambition is to stimulate knowledge-seeking, creative expression, and civic engagement. We combine enjoyable learning environments with high standards for quality and competence. Medborgarskolan Region Väst, with a regional office in Gothenburg, covers Western Gothia and Halland. We are looking for a knowledgeable and pedagogical instructor for our Modern Greek courses starting fall 2026. This includes both beginner and advanced courses. You need to speak Swedish well. The courses are held in the evenings on weekdays. You are passionate about the subject you wish to teach and want to share your knowledge with others. You enjoy meeting many new people and have previous experience working with adults. As a person, you are attentive, organized, and strive for high quality and satisfied course participants. You have a social personality and are skilled at building relationships. Teaching takes the form of group instruction, and you will work as a group facilitator. Working hours are primarily in the afternoon and evening, though daytime hours may also occur. It is therefore important that you are prepared for varied working hours. This is a project-based position, and collective agreements apply. We are constantly seeking passionate individuals for our folk education activities and look forward to your application.
