Folkuniversitetet offers day and evening courses as well as longer educational programs and lectures in areas such as languages, finance, communication, writing, health, and sustainable development. We are now seeking course instructors for our payroll administration courses for employment on an hourly basis with immediate start. Application deadline is September 21. The Assignment Our courses are aimed at both private individuals and corporate clients as well as the public sector, and teaching is characterized by communicative pedagogy. We are now seeking course instructors for adult education courses in payroll administration and finance, primarily for the Diploma in Finance Assistant with Payroll and Payroll Administration programs, but we also aim to develop new courses. Courses are offered on-site or online, during day or evening hours, and for the full term or parts of it. You are welcome to apply as an instructor for one or both courses. The assignment involves independently planning, implementing, and following up on your course in accordance with an established course plan. Some development work may occur by agreement. Student contact between lessons related to course content, such as preparation or homework, is part of the job duties. Your Competence and Background You should have theoretical education at a higher level within the subject area and solid practical experience. Teaching experience is not a requirement, but you should have experience leading groups and a genuine interest in sharing your knowledge and experience with others. It is a requirement that you have good digital skills. Part of our offerings are online, and you need to be comfortable teaching via Teams or Zoom and meeting students in the digital classroom when the course is not held on-site. Desirable personal qualities include the willingness and ability to work independently as well as in a group. As a person, you are responsive, organized, and have the ability to teach others pedagogically. You enjoy meeting new people, strive for high quality, and satisfied course participants. We also expect you to share our view on the equal worth of people and the right to knowledge. Employment Form The employment is a task-based position (employment per course) with compensation per study hour. Planning takes place in close collaboration with subject-responsible staff at Folkuniversitetet.
