Ceramic Instructor Wanted! Medborgarskolan in Borås is seeking a ceramic instructor for fall semester 2026 and beyond. Are you passionate about ceramics and creative work and want to share your knowledge? We are now looking for engaged ceramic instructors who want to teach courses with us starting fall semester 2026. The courses consist of 8 sessions of 3 hours each and are held primarily in the evenings once a week. Other arrangements may be available, such as daytime and weekend classes, in consultation with the coordinator if you have the ability to take on additional courses. About the Role As a ceramic instructor at Medborgarskolan, you will have the opportunity to inspire participants and guide them in their creative work. You will plan and conduct your sessions independently, but with support from our organization. Your Responsibilities Teach and instruct in ceramics. Prepare inspiring and developmental course sessions. Adapt teaching to the group's level and needs. Introduce various ceramic and creative techniques. Finish participants' work through glazing and firing. Manage and handle the ceramic kiln safely. Keep the ceramic workshop clean and organized. Create a safe, creative, and inclusive environment for participants. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has experience and solid knowledge in ceramics. Is engaged, pedagogical, and creative. Has experience teaching or leading groups (advantageous but not required). Wants to contribute to adult education and create meaningful experiences for our participants. We Offer Compensation per study hour (45 minutes). Flexibility to teach at times that suit you, primarily evenings. A rewarding role in a creative and inspiring environment. The opportunity to take one free course per year with us. Location Courses are held at our facilities in Borås.
