The Faculty of Law at Uppsala University is the Nordic region's oldest law faculty, established when the university was founded in 1477. Job Responsibilities As a Course Administrator, you will provide course administration support and service to teachers and students at both undergraduate and advanced levels. You will work as part of a team where course administrators collaborate closely with study directors, teachers, and other administrative staff. You will also interact with departments outside the institution, including the administration, and have the opportunity to participate in several administrative networks within Uppsala University. Course administration responsibilities include setting up course information for students, scheduling, booking facilities, creating course instances, administering exams, and reporting results. The main administrative systems you will work with are Ladok, Inspera, Studium (Canvas), and TimeEdit. Other duties may be assigned within the scope of the position. Qualifications Relevant higher education, vocational training in administration, or equivalent competence deemed comparable by the employer. Experience in administrative work. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We value your ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a structured manner while maintaining accuracy. You should be open to system changes and capable of handling peak workloads. The position requires independent work and a proactive approach. You need to be outgoing and communicative, as the role involves frequent contact with students, colleagues, and teachers/researchers. Experience with the educational administration systems Ladok, Studium, Inspera, and TimeEdit, as well as other systems/programs used at Uppsala University, is meriting.
