About the Workplace
The workplace is located in Oxie and it's easy to get there by public transport. The work is scheduled mostly during days and evenings. You will work mostly independently, but double assistance occurs during activities. You will receive training at the hospital and at home from experienced assistants.
The Client
Our client is a cheerful and energetic 12-year-old boy. He walks and runs and speaks for himself. His primary care needs involve a tracheostomy that needs to be managed and monitored. The client lives with his parents and siblings in a house in Oxie. He enjoys playing football and being outdoors, but also playing computer games.
Job Duties
You will accompany the client to school during the day. He does not attend after-school care, so you will continue working with him at home and during activities.
About You
We hope you have experience from care work. Experience with tracheostomy is a big plus. You are a mature and confident person, but at the same time have energy to engage and "play." You will be physically active and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Criminal Records Check:
To work with minor clients or clients with children in the home, a criminal records check is required. We will ask you to provide one as soon as you become a candidate for employment.
