We work in interprofessional teams consisting of special education teachers, psychologists, coordinators, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physiotherapists where we collaborate closely to provide support to patients individually and in groups. We serve individuals living in the municipalities of Haninge, Tyresö, and Nynäshamn.
The unit specializes in intellectual disabilities, movement disorders, and autism spectrum disorder diagnoses. We create conditions for patients to function optimally in their daily lives.
About the position:
We are now seeking a coordinator colleague to join our team for children with autism spectrum disorder. As a coordinator in child habilitation, you work to assess the needs of children and parents and determine the need for care and appropriate interventions. Interventions are planned together with the patient and their network based on an assessment of the individual's situation and the network's resources. You will provide individual support through psychoeducation, conduct support conversations with children and young people, and provide support in the parenting role. You will also provide advice, support, and consultation to people in the patient's network, such as relatives and other care providers. Your work involves following the patient's development, providing support to prevent and reduce problematic behavior, strengthen communicative interaction, and informing about the impact of disabilities in daily life.
Your work may also involve leading groups and giving presentations. The tasks are varied and require flexibility as you will not only meet patients at the habilitation center but also in their immediate surroundings. Leading and participating in network meetings, such as SIP meetings, is part of the work.
All interventions provided are documented in our Take Care patient records system. We work systematically according to a structured care process and use habilitation programs as support in planning and implementing interventions.
About you:
We are seeking someone with a degree in social work who wants to work in our team for children and young people with autism spectrum diagnoses and who has experience with coordinator work involving support contacts and preferably youth counseling. You should have excellent ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish.
You should have experience working with children with disabilities and their networks.
Knowledge of disabilities and working methods such as clarifying pedagogy or applied behavior analysis is advantageous. You are welcome to have experience leading groups and giving presentations, such as KONTAKT and ACT. You should have knowledge of how to work with problematic behavior. The work requires an interest in collaborating with other care providers and municipal activities.
You are a person who takes initiative and is motivated by finding solutions with a focus on the patient. You enjoy working both independently and in teams and take personal responsibility for planning, developing, and advancing patient work in a structured manner.
The ability to document is crucial as we maintain records of our interventions. You are interested in providing group-based interventions, have good computer skills, and experience working with digital meeting tools as many meetings are conducted remotely.

- in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guideline for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
