Noblaskolan consists of 18 preschools and elementary schools that operate according to the principle that students who are challenged reach further. Through a combination of clear structures, high expectations, high-quality instruction, and safety and academic focus, students will have the best conditions for a successful school experience. Noblaskolan is part of AcadeMedia's elementary schools. We are now seeking a school counselor to join our student wellness team and help develop our operations at all levels. We are looking for a counselor who will work with our students in close collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff in the student wellness team. The counselor contributes psychosocial and social expertise within the student wellness work at various levels. Guidance and consultation in the psychosocial area provides indirect support to the operations both for individuals and groups. Work at a comprehensive level includes structural work aimed at strengthening the school as an environment for learning, health, and development. As a counselor with us, you focus on preventive and promoting work. In collaboration with the entire school staff, you work on and develop the school's overall student wellness efforts. - Social assessment/mapping and intervention work Work within the school's student wellness team and in collaboration with others to develop the school's work environment for students. Work together with teachers on values-based education and relationship building. Parent meetings and network meetings. Guidance and consultation for school staff. Lead and implement plans and processes for values-based work and work against bullying and harassment. Work with crisis management and conflict resolution. Systematically conduct conversations with students individually and in groups. - Collaborate with social services, child and adolescent psychiatry, habilitation, field assistants, and police, etc. Qualifications You have a salutogenic approach and the ability to manage multiple perspectives in both direct student work and indirect preventive work. You possess a broad range of working methods and deep knowledge of children and adolescents in general and the student population the school serves in particular. You have deep knowledge in behavioral and social sciences, social legislation, and social treatment work. You have knowledge of the legislation governing school operations. Furthermore, broad and continuously updated knowledge of current affairs is required. You possess good knowledge of NPF. You have the ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. In dialogue with the principal, you are able to lead and organize your work independently. You take responsibility for maintaining and deepening your professional expertise and knowledge of current affairs. You have good experience mentoring colleagues and coaching guardians. You are a stable and trustworthy person who builds confidence and calm with students and colleagues. You have a degree in social work or equivalent education, as well as experience working as a school counselor and/or experience working in relevant operations. You also have documented experience working systematically with behavioral change. Other This position is a fixed-term employment (50%) for the school year 26/27 with start in Fall 2026.
