Child psychiatry in Kungälv and Ale was divided in 2020 into a unit focused on patients with neuropsychiatric functional impairments and a unit focused on patients with affective problems, and it is to the affective clinic that we are now seeking a new team member. The team consists of senior physicians, nurses, psychologists, curators, secretaries and unit managers. Access is also available to speech therapists and occupational therapists, who are employed at the neuropsychiatric unit. In addition to various types of conversations, we also conduct group activities. All professional groups receive continuous supervision based on their profession. Work Tasks Qualified investigation, assessment and treatment work with children, adolescents and their families. The work takes place both in a team and independently. We often have contact with healthcare neighbors, schools and social services. The clinic has emergency readiness during daytime hours. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed healthcare curator and who wants to help continue developing our clinic with shared commitment and innovative thinking. You have an open mind and a good ability to critically examine your work as well as a stated patient focus that is developed in collaboration with the patient around diagnostics and treatment methods. Above all, you are a person who values the important work with children and young people's mental health and wants to work for an outstanding and accessible child and adolescent psychiatry. A requirement is a degree in social work. In addition to experience working in the child psychiatric field, we also see basic psychotherapy training (level 1) as meriting consideration. It is also meriting if you are a licensed healthcare curator and if you have experience working in child psychiatric emergency services. We place great emphasis on collaboration skills and personal suitability.
