Description In your role as a curator at Habilitering Borås, you will provide specialized interventions to people over 18 years old with congenital or early-acquired permanent functional impairments that cause significant difficulties in daily life. The specialization encompasses both broad and in-depth knowledge in multiple areas. At Habilitation, we work in interprofessional teams with medical and psychosocial expertise. The catchment area for Habilitering Borås includes municipalities in Södra Älvsborg, and the workplace is located in Borås. The work includes travel to our clinic in Alingsås. We are now seeking a curator for one of our teams at Habilitation in Borås. This is a permanent full-time position (100%). Responsibilities As a curator with us, you are an important team member. You will primarily work with people with intellectual disabilities and autism. The working methods are investigative and treatment-focused. Interventions are provided primarily to the patient but may also include consultative support to important people in the patient's immediate environment. Collaboration and networking with other healthcare providers involved in the patient's daily life is also a frequently occurring task. We practice evidence-based care, which means we also develop new methods. Interventions are provided individually or in groups during defined treatment periods. Work is primarily conducted in the facility's premises but can be provided in the patient's immediate environment when needed. Experience working with patients in Habilitation's target groups and knowledge of functional impairments and their consequences in daily life is an advantage. It is meritorious if you are an authorized health and medical care curator and have experience working in interprofessional teams. You have a clear patient focus that you apply in investigation and treatment, in interprofessional work, and in collaboration with others. You have a good ability to reflect on your work in dialogue with colleagues and management, and confidence in making your own professional judgments. You have a positive attitude toward collaboration and sharing knowledge and experiences. You also have personal qualities such as a good ability to organize and structure your patient work, are flexible, independent, and have good collaborative skills. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. A Class B driver's license is required as the work involves travel.
