The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, after-school care, upper secondary school, adult education, and student health and welfare. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As our curator, you will be part of the school's student welfare team, with the mission to work preventatively and promote students' learning, development, safety, and health. The position is 70% at Källan School. The work occurs at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Our school curator's work is conducted in close collaboration with teachers and other staff, and is carried out using a salutogenic approach that aims to remove obstacles to student learning. As a school curator with us, you will work with students in grades F–6 and will be an important part of the school's student welfare team, collaborating with the school nurse, school psychologist, special education teacher, and principal. Your responsibilities include measures such as counseling, support conversations, information initiatives, investigations, and collaboration with external actors such as social services. You work primarily in a preventative capacity, with a special focus on student social issues, and help create a safe and inclusive school environment. Building and maintaining relationships with students is a central part of your work, where you regularly are present to strengthen contact with students and promote a positive school experience. You will also have individual conversations with students, work closely with the school's various teams, and maintain regular contact with parents to support students' wellbeing and development both in the short and long term. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone with a degree in social work and experience working as a curator in primary school. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and what they entail. To thrive in this position, you should have strong empathetic abilities and be confident in building relationships with children. You are also a stable and flexible person who enjoys working independently. You have strong social skills where relationship-building and collaboration abilities are important components. You have pedagogical insight, problem-solving skills, and the ability to contribute the specialized expertise that the curator role entails. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent position. Duration: Start date: 2026-08-26. Working hours: Daytime.
