Working with funerals is varied, eventful and requires good understanding of people's wishes. Some of the tasks as customer advisor/ceremony host are to: Provide support and practical guidance to relatives throughout the funeral process, from the first meeting to subsequent follow-up Provide advice on planning and conducting the funeral ceremony, including choice of ceremony type, coffins, urns and other details Prepare cost estimates, handle invoicing and payments Coordinate and contact external suppliers such as flower shops, parishes, religious communities and authorities Act as a representative in churches, chapels and other gathering places in connection with ceremonies, which means overall responsibility for the ceremony meeting the customer's order satisfactorily Handle the deceased during personal farewells and preparation for ceremony Perform collections of the deceased from private homes and residential facilities Vehicle care – our vehicles should be as well-maintained as our service We are now looking for a new colleague to our team, with placement at Östrom's Funeral Home in Gällivare. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period. What you bring with you You have a driver's license and access to your own car You are physically fit as several heavy lifting tasks occur in the work You are organized and have a very good ability to plan and organize your work even when the pace varies Experience of customer-focused work Good administrative ability and experience with different business systems are an advantage Readiness to work outside office hours where evening and weekend work occurs It is advantageous if you speak multiple languages or have experience in our or related operations Who we are looking for We always focus on the customer's needs and wishes.
