About the role
As a customer reception specialist at Skrotcentralen Gävle, you have a central role in meeting our customers, suppliers, and freight companies. You are the first point of contact in reception, on the phone, and at the weighbridge where the initial inspection of materials takes place. You take care of the customer from reception and settlement through to payment in our business system. Together with the site manager, you plan deliveries, manage our own container operations, and supervise colleagues in production.
The role is varied and combines customer contact, administration, and close collaboration with colleagues in daily operations. You'll become part of a small team where your contribution makes a real difference.
About you
We're looking for someone who is service-oriented, thorough, and curious. Since customers can arrive throughout the day, you also need to be comfortable with work where the pace varies and where you need to be able to prioritize and work flexibly.
If you don't come from the industry, you should also have an interest and willingness to learn about the materials we work with and our operations. With us, personality matters – regardless of role, we're all team players, problem-solvers, and spreaders of joy.
Requirements for the position include several years of professional experience where customer contact has been a natural part of your work, and that you are accustomed to working in business systems. Since you will have many contact points, it's also important that you can express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
If you have experience from our industry or related industries, we consider that an advantage.
A B driver's license is a requirement; experience with forklifts and trucks is an advantage.
