JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Culture Strategist, you work with culture-driven societal development based on Kiruna Municipality's culture strategy. In your role, you will work on projects in the cultural field, you maintain contact with actors within and outside the municipal corporation based on the culture strategy's prioritized areas, and you contribute to ensuring that the cultural perspective is represented in processes surrounding the city relocation. During the years leading up to and during the implementation of the Capital of Culture year 2029, you conduct your work primarily together with the Capital of Culture organization and participate in projects linked to this. You are also responsible for the Culture and Education Administration's work with culture in schools, including planning for schools' cultural offerings and projects within the framework of the state grant Creative School. You belong to the Culture and Education Administration and report to the Culture Director. You are part of the Culture and Education Administration's office and collaborate with office staff to fulfill the Culture and Education Committee's goals and activities. QUALIFICATIONS We see that you have post-secondary education in the cultural field, or other related education that the employer deems relevant. You have work experience in cultural promotion or cultural development. You can express yourself well in speech and writing, in both Swedish and English. You have a B-class driver's license. It is meritorious if you have experience working in a politically governed organization, such as a municipality, region, or government agency. As a person, you have the ability to work independently, can prioritize, and are flexible and solution-oriented. You are strategic and think long-term. You are skilled at collaboration and enjoy working together with others toward common goals. We place great importance on personal suitability.
