Music School Seeking Transverse Flute Teacher

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a music teacher, you are independently responsible for scheduling, lessons, and lesson planning. You are responsible for the necessary contacts with students and guardians, and participate in staff meetings. You plan outward-facing activities together with your colleagues. Part of the position requires collaboration across subject boundaries, both individually and in work teams. To thrive in this role, you should enjoy teaching younger students where joy of playing and curiosity-fostering pedagogy are prominent. You must be able to meet each individual child's needs and interests and have a clear child perspective in your teaching. The position includes instruction in transverse flute and recorder as well as ensemble teaching. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a Teacher's degree or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Further, you are theoretically knowledgeable and have playing experience within most musical styles. You have a good and trustworthy way of working with children and young people to provide our students with tools to develop their artistry and technical skills. The position requires that you are self-driven, engaged, and experienced in driving your own projects. You are passionate about creating conditions for creative learning together with both colleagues and students. As a person, you are positive, flexible, and contribute to creating a creative work environment. The position is a temporary contract at 60%. 2026-08-13–2027-06-18. Work according to schedule during day and evening hours. For events and outward-facing activities, some weekend work may occur. The position requires that you can provide an extract from the criminal records register. Driver's License Category B is required. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-08-13 According to agreement, end date: 2027-06-18. Working hours: Schedule.
