Kuldīgas novada pašvaldība, reg. no. 90000035590 announces a competition for a Cultural Projects Manager position at the Department of Culture for an indefinite period.

Main job responsibilities:
Plan, develop and implement public cultural events in Kuldīgas novads (festivals, commemorative days, national holidays, thematic events, etc.);
Develop event concepts and scripts, attract artists and other partners;
Prepare event promotional texts and cooperate with communications specialists;
Plan event budgets and ensure their implementation within defined financial frameworks;
Organize event implementation, coordinate involved personnel and take responsibility for event execution;
Prepare related documentation (contracts, copyright reports, reports, etc.);
Develop and implement creative projects in the cultural sector in cooperation with parish cultural event organizers;
Be ready to work on holidays and days off according to the work schedule.
Requirements for candidates:
At least Level 1 higher education;
Previous work experience in the cultural field, project management or event organization;
Basic knowledge of cultural processes, regulatory requirements and industry updates;
Excellent organizational, communication and cooperation skills;
Ability to lead and motivate personnel involved in events;
Ability to make independent decisions, justify your actions and take responsibility;
Accuracy, high sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize;
Good computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel) and office equipment;
Ability to work both in a team and independently, planning and organizing your work;
Desirable Category B driver's license.
