No. 90000295873 announces a vacancy for CULTURE WORK DIRECTOR for SALIENAS AND SKRUDALIENAS PARISHES (position code according to occupational classification – 1431 19) Work location: Salienas parish cultural center, Centrāles iela 22, Saliena, Salienas pagasts, Augšdaugavas novads or Silenes cultural center, Skaista iela 9, Silene, Skrudalienas pagasts, Augšdaugavas novads We offer: - employment contract for a FIXED TERM (covering primary employee's absence period); - standard working hours of 40 hours per week; - monthly salary starting from 1331 EUR before tax; - social benefits, including health insurance after probation period. Main job responsibilities: - plan and organize diverse and artistically high-quality cultural and educational events in Salienas and Skrudalienas parishes; - develop event plans, write scripts, lead cultural events, ensure event publicity; - organize amateur arts collective activities, support the Song and Dance Festival movement; - conduct identification, preservation, and development of intangible cultural heritage. Requirements for candidates: - education meeting the requirements of Article 6, paragraph 3 of the Culture Centers Law; - desired experience in organizing cultural events or implementing cultural projects; - knowledge of cultural management and cultural marketing tools; - knowledge and understanding of amateur arts traditions, Latvian cultural processes, and the Song and Dance Festival movement; - excellent communication, speech culture, and presentation skills; - excellent computer skills and digital competence; - creative approach to work, goal orientation, and initiative.
