Culture Work Director

Position: Director of Blomes Community House Smiltenes novada Kultūras centrs (Reg. No. 40900041491) invites applications for the position of Blomes Community House Director. We are looking for a Community House Director who, with energy, strategic vision, and organizational skills, can develop the house's activities, build connections with residents of the region, and enrich local cultural life. If you have a desire to influence cultural events, create diverse and engaging cultural activities for residents – we are looking for you! Your main responsibilities: Manage and organize operations at Blomes Community House (hereinafter - the House), develop event plans, and implement them; Promote and maintain cultural environment in the parish, develop processes aimed at preserving national identity; Develop the House's annual work plans, ensure their implementation; Ensure proper record-keeping of copyrighted works used and timely preparation and submission of reports to AKKA/LAA; Prepare necessary documentation for House operations (contracts, acceptance-handover acts, reports, etc.); We value in candidates: Higher or secondary professional education in culture or management; Experience in cultural management and event organization (minimum 1 year); Knowledge and understanding of amateur arts collectives operations, document preparation, budget planning and control; State language proficiency at the advanced (C1) level; Good information technology skills.
