KTP Project Manager for Development Project at Excidor AB As a KTP Project Manager, you'll have a unique opportunity to apply your newly acquired knowledge in practice, drive a strategic development project, and create tangible value in the business. You'll work closely with company leadership and receive support from both Högskolan i Gävle and IUC Gävleborg. Företagsutbildarna/IUC Gävleborg is seeking, in collaboration with Excidor AB, a KTP Project Manager who wants to contribute to the company's continued development by future-proofing the company's product platform and exploring how AI and LLM can be used in product development and development processes. You will be employed by Företagsutbildarna/IUC Gävleborg and work at Excidor AB in Bollnäs. About the Company Excidor AB develops and delivers custom-built control systems, operator environments, and software for construction machinery and industrial trucks. The company was founded in 1991, has approximately 20 employees in Bollnäs, and delivers its solutions globally to machine manufacturers, importers, and general agents, among others. Your Responsibilities As a KTP Project Manager, you are responsible for driving the project forward and, together with Excidor, developing the company's systems and processes to meet new requirements in areas such as machine safety and cybersecurity. New regulations and standards will take effect in 2027 that will impact Excidor's products. The project's purpose is to update the product platform to meet these requirements while developing the company's expertise and use of AI/LLM services. In your role as KTP Project Manager, you will: - Analyze Excidor's current systems and identify needs for adjustments based on upcoming regulations and standards. - Work with software development and adaptation of existing systems. - Work with system integration and development on other hardware. - Contribute to exploring and developing the use of AI/LLM services in product development and development processes. - Contribute to investigating the possibility of using local AI/LLM solutions to keep business-critical information within the company. - Develop a concrete project plan from the decided project idea and coordinate a project team with coaches from Högskolan i Gävle, IUC, and the business community. - Work closely with key personnel at Excidor AB. Are You the Person We're Looking For? We are looking for you if you: Have completed at least a recent three-year higher education or university degree, 180 credits, with an engineering focus in, for example: - Automation - Mechanical Engineering - Hydraulics - Electronics - Computer Science Have very good English skills, both spoken and written. Are curious, driven, and self-directed with the ability to work both independently and with others. Have a systematic approach and the ability to drive work toward results. The project language is Swedish or English. Meritorious: - Studies at an advanced level. - Courses or experience in: - PLC and programming - AI/LLM - Business development in quality, work environment, or environment - Business economics - ERP/business systems, preferably Monitor - Project management or change processes Personality: We expect the KTP Project Manager to be interested in technology, digitalization, and sustainability work, and to have understanding and interest in the everyday operations and conditions of small entrepreneurial companies. Characteristics: Driven, curious, self-directed, and team-oriented; results-oriented with a long-term sustainable and systematic approach. About the Position: Fixed-term full-time employment. Start Date: As soon as possible or by agreement. Employment: You will be employed by Företagsutbildarna/IUC Gävleborg to work at Excidor in Bollnäs.
