Your new role As a Crisis and Continuity Manager, you will be placed in the Business Protection Unit, which is part of the Work Environment Authority's Support and Coordination Division. Within the unit's work area, business and security protection are managed. Additionally, crisis management, preparedness issues, and civil defense are also handled. In your role, you are responsible for developing, coordinating, managing, and following up the agency's work within crisis preparedness, continuity management, and operational resilience. You will ensure that the authority can maintain critical societal functions during disruptions, crises, and heightened readiness. As a Crisis and Continuity Manager at the Work Environment Authority, you are expected to independently handle matters related to the agency's crisis management organization and, when needed, contribute to our work with internal investigations and training of the authority's employees. The unit is part of the security organization, where development is a natural part of daily operations and an important part of our mission. Your background The role requires that you have: University education or other post-secondary education in, for example: social sciences, political science, risk management, security, public administration, or information security. Several years of experience with crisis management and/or work with continuity planning. Experience leading or coordinating projects, conducting risk and vulnerability analyses, and developing plans, governance documents, and processes. Good knowledge of Swedish crisis preparedness and total defense. Good knowledge of continuity management according to established standards. Good knowledge of public administration. Very good skills in speaking and writing Swedish. It is meritorious if you have: Knowledge of risk management and risk analysis methodology. Knowledge of collaboration structures within crisis preparedness. Knowledge of information security. A security clearance with or without criminal record check may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made. For some of our work tasks in security-classified positions, Swedish citizenship is required. Security clearance is conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
